But life wasn’t easy for young Nikola. He faced many struggles, yet he never gave up. His brilliant mind and determination made him one of the greatest inventors of all time!
A Stormy Beginning
The night Nikola was born, a huge thunderstorm shook the sky. Lightning flashed, and rain poured down. The midwife looked at the storm and said, “This child is born in darkness.”
But his mother smiled and replied, “No, he is born into light!”
Little did she know, Nikola would grow up to bring light to the whole world!
The Boy with Big Ideas
From a young age, Nikola had an amazing memory. He could read entire books and remember every word! He imagined new machines and loved to solve problems.
One day, he saw a waterwheel spinning in a river and thought, “What if we could use energy like this, but with electricity?” This idea would later change history!
A Shocking Discovery
As Nikola grew older, he became obsessed with electricity. At that time, people used Thomas Edison’s electrical system, which had many problems. But Tesla had a better idea—he imagined a system where electricity could travel long distances safely and power entire cities.
People laughed at him. “That’s impossible!” they said.
But Tesla believed in his idea and worked hard to prove them wrong. His invention, Alternating Current (AC), became the electricity system we use today!
Lighting Up the World
Tesla’s genius helped build the world’s first hydroelectric power station at Niagara Falls, bringing electricity to thousands of homes. He also invented the Tesla Coil, which is still used in radios and wireless technology today!
He dreamed of free wireless energy for the entire world, but many people didn’t support his vision. Even though he faced failures, he never stopped dreaming.
